Remington the Christmas Mouse. This is a children's story I wrote and self-published about a mouse ornament named Remington who falls off of the Christmas tree and goes on an adventure with other ornaments to save Christmas. Remington returns the star to the top of the tree so that Santa can find the house to bring presents. An funny and heartwarming adventure book showing even an ordinary person can be a hero if they have a big heart. The print version with illustrations by Kate and Andrew Nelson is available through Createspace and Amazon.

"Mind Games," Chicago Reader 1998. Story about working briefly as a telephone psychic which I recently retold as spoken word story on the SpeakeasyDC stage. "Bored out of
my mind from stuffing envelopes eight hours a day, I started poring over the
classifieds. One ad caught my eye. Earn $10/hr. receiving incoming calls in
your own home! Make your own hours. If you are a people person and like giving
advice, call... I called. A recording announced that I could earn money as a
psychic reader. All I had to do was show up at Ann Sather's by 2 PM that day." Read More...
